Tradable Items in Monster Hunter Wilds

By now you’ve probably noticed that some items in Monster Hunter Wilds have a blue paper icon on the top right corner. This indicates that these are tradable with the NPCs in each town. As you progress in the campaign, you’ll unlock each of these NPCs, and in High Rank, Nata in the Windward Plains will become the hub for all your trading, so don’t worry, you won’t need to do any running around. The town that deals in Ancient Wyvern Coins is called Gawdygog if you want to get a head start on trading before you hit high rank. Their stock refreshes every in-game day or two, so make sure you check back frequently.

Farming for Armor Spheres
As you get into Monster Hunter Wilds end game (High Rank), you’ll want to upgrade your favorite armor. This requires A LOT of armor spheres. So many you’re going to want a good farm to get ahead of the pack. That’s where this farm comes into play. You can farm for Ancient Wyvern Coins, and trade them to Nata for Armor Spheres.

How to Farm Ancient Wyvern Coins
Alright, let’s get to the farm!
First, travel to the Area 8: Underground Lake Campsite. If you don’t have this campsite built, it’s towards the top/right of the map, near section 8 on the map below. You can also talk to the Palico at any basecamp to set the camp for you. Once you travel to the camp, equip your Capture Net and keep an eagle eye out for the Curioshell Crab on the small peninsula. Snatch him up for one Ancient Wyvern Coin.

Next, look across the water to see if there’s a loot beam visible. If so, you’re going to make your way around and through the water to grab the second Ancient Wyvern Coin. There’s also tradable loot in the water and shiny Grand Escunite fish in the pool. Use your capture net to snag any cool fish to earn some Guild Points. This farm is a pretty good way of earning those as well, not to mention all the Zenny you’ll earn.
To refresh the loot in the Underground Lake, you’ll need to travel to a different Basecamp and then come back. Remember that it’s only a chance that the Curioshell crab and the second coin location will spawn. Even so, this method is really fast and easy to repeat, making it the best way to stockpile Ancient Wyvern Coins.
Once you have a bunch of Ancient Wyvern Coin stacked up, you can spend them when the tradable offer is for Armor Spheres. These are very valuable in endgame and it will cost a lot of cores to max out an entire legendary armor set. Earning them early and often is a great way to make sure you’re not defenseless in the high ranks of Monster Hunter Wilds.
HAPPY HUNTING!
