PlagueShifter Druid, Best Nightmare Dungeon 100 Build!
How the Build Works
Today we’re going over my Plagueshifter build for Season 2. This was my most-played and favorite build in Season 1 because Diablo IV added the Subterranean aspect which allowed Poison Creeper to auto-cast Landslides for us. I’ve done a lot of work to update this build for Season 2 and I’m really happy with how it turned out. This is the most comfortable of the Nightmare 100 builds that I’ve made. You can play casually and even survive Nightmare 100 lightning storm strikes! We’re not doing as much damage as our Lightning Storm or Tornado builds, but we’re still doing great damage and you’re able to complete all end game content with the Plagueshifter build this season.
Last season the Plagueshifter build used the Barber Heart for single target damage. This season, the build relies a lot on the spirit boon, Packleader – Lucky Hit: Critical Strikes have up to a 20% chance to reset the Cooldowns of your Companion Skills. Poison Creeper will be casting our Landslides for us and we’re getting our poison creepers back all the time.

Vampiric Powers
- Major – Accursed Touch, Metamorphosis
- Minor – Undying, Ravenous, and Prey on the Weak
Spirit Boons
For the Spirit Boons, you want:
- Deer: Wariness
- Eagle (Double): Avian Wrath and Swooping Attacks
- Wolf: Packleader
- Snake: Calm Before the Storm

Skill Tree
We don’t put Landslide on our skills bar because it is auto-cast by Poison Creeper.
