There are too many coincidences to deny that Titanfall 3 is coming out sooner than we think. And in my opinion, I think we’ll see Titanfall 3 released this year.
As a huge fan of the franchise, I’m extremely excited for the possibility of a new arena shooter. Titanfall 2 PvP mixed pilot and titan gameplay so well with fun game modes for the casual player and very sweaty matches as well. And, although it was short, their campaign remains one of my favorites, making me feel some real feelings about a robot! I even have a couple Titanfall 2 videos on my YouTube channel from the old Xbox.
I want to show you all the evidence gathered by the Titanfall 3 community over the past month to persuade you that the game is coming soon!
Apex Patch Notes
In recent patch notes for the Apex Legends Harbingers event, if you scroll to the bottom you’ll see the following text: “Incoming Transmission…. Subject: Nessie….” and three numbers: 1394521200, 1477638000, and 1549267200. These numbers are the Unix timestamps for the release dates of Titanfall, Titanfall 2, and Apex Legends! This is long after Respawn stopped development on Titanfall 3 after 10 months. They even stated there was a ‘first playable” build on the go. But due to the popularity of battle royale games like PubG, they decided to no longer continue develop a third game for the series.
Titanfall 2 Updates
Riddled with disconnects, authorization failures and DDOSing, Titanfall 2 player base has been stagnate and literally unplayable for the last year or so. Then in September 2023, it gets an update that brings the servers back online, private matches are out of beta and the players can rejoice! But what does this mean? Why update Titanfall 2, almost 7 years after the game launched?
Well, some players noticed there was a new featured game mode added named ‘???’ Could this be a reference to Titanfall 3? You may not initially think so, but the description of this game mode is “Your rockets will blot out the sun.” This quote is a reference to the movie 300, which is another reference to THREE. Still not convinced?
On October 2nd, the game mode was changed again, this time to “The Otherside”, which is also a Red Hot Chili Peppers song from their popular 1999 album, Californication. More specifically, “Otherside” was released as the 3rd single from their 7th album. Yes, this is another THREE, but also references Titanfall 2’s 7th year anniversary, which happens to be on October 28, 2023. Oh yea, October 27, 2023 is also the 300th day of the year, which calls back to the ??? game mode tag line.
What do you think?
And finally, there’s a YouTube channel like this, looking very suspicious. It could be completely fake, but I’m living on the copium for now.
Whether it’s Titanfall 3, or a new Apex legend with strong references to Titanfall, after seeing those clues, I think you’ll agree that something’s coming soon! Titanfall is one of my most loved games and I think Respawn could grab a large audience after the success of Apex Legends and the decline of other PvP shooters that are falling behind.
